Some still look for the answers to “who am I?”

Here we have the answer. Here Paul tells us:
Read Ephesians 1:3-14

• Paul says God has:

1. blessed us … with every spiritual blessing (3b);
   
2. predestined us to be adopted as his sons (5) and
   
3. made known to us the mystery of his will (9).

• Further details of our identity:

V13-14: sealed with the Holy Spirit guaranteeing our future inheritance

V4: chose us to be holy and blameless before Him

V7: redemption through His blood

V7: forgiveness of sins by His grace

V11-12: obtained an inheritance

What a wonderful gift!!
Luther tells us we are enemies of God while we walk in sin. Yet, by coming and bowing at the cross, knowing that Jesus who had everything humbled himself to die so that we could be completely forgiven and be re-united in a relationship with the Father!!! All these blessings are for every one no matter what their past looks like.
