We are only at the very beginning of getting out the word when adult children hurt their parents. England has been talking about this phenominon for years. Most of the resources and stories about parental harm is from the United Kingdom. We are very far behind. And this is NOT always retaliation for abusive parents towards that child decades ago; no, some children who were NEVER spanked nor punished eventually do the unthinkable.

I don’t know what to say about the Menedez brothers who were sexually violated and mentally/emotionally abused for decades. Many people get through that without killing parents. But then there are cases like GRB: Remember the now infamous grifter G*psy 🌹 Blanchard…we now know every medical procedure “she was put through” by her “horrible mom”…was actually necessary because of her micro-deletion. The recently released FOIA copies of 40,000 hours of her prison calls, capture her admitting she killed her mom “and I didn’t kill my mom just to go through all this.”

Kip Kinkle the school shooter in Springfield Oregon, killed his parents before taking the guns to his school and hurting people there.

There are lesser severe abuses that still damage parents: sometimes its bullying and threats from a child, that towers over them, or has been violent with peers so perhaps they are capable of hurting the parent. Perhaps it is financial abuse: threatening to cut the parent off and out of the grandkids’ lives if the parent(s) don’t get them or give the adult child what they want / “need”. Sometimes, the child does lay hands on and against the parent.

In 2024, I was in a group of 12 women who were attending a addiction recovery class, they were of various ages. Three had been bruised or limbs broken at the hands of their teen or adult children. Literally 5 others, who were younger, admitted they had struck their mom’s, and one had been imprisoned for taking an axe, and whacking the back of her father’s head with the dull edge. I was floored. While I had my own experience by my son, I did NOT know this was a common thing that happens in certain populations like where drugs, poverty, alcohol, few employment options exist. But it does!

We have no patience with new cycles. I mean …we seemd to have gotten bored with Epstein before any Americans in those documents has faced a single charge beyond Jeffrey and Ms. Maxwell. Other countries ARE prosecuting and punishing their citizens within the files…not us. It is no longer and empassioned front story. That is problematic. That is how many people still live in denial of reality.

I am publishing this for people who know. I am publishing this for parent(s) that were shaken when Rob Reiner’s son brutally murdered Rob and his wife. Some people hear these stories quickly and distract themselves only to find that night or within days their own anxiety has shot up, they can’t sleep. they want to cry, and they are depressed= FEAR that it could absolutely happen to them.

But who would believe them?
