I read a post on Substack. i wrote a LONG reply… so long it wouldn’t post it. LOL

I deleted it and got succinct and posted that… yet it has me still heated.

The post is about the denominations which lower the value of scripture, not holding to it, bending it to blend into supporting culture, and how THOSE main denominations are decreasing in LARGE amounts.

I know why I walked away from those kind of churches. I know my own experience that lead to deconstruction and anger and resentment with the Bible and Christianity and Christians in general.

God reached me again… and FOREVER I will be grateful. But it wasn’t until, He* had turned me over to my sin and let me go “Deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 5:5) and when the pain and reality got SOOOO bad (which took 2+ years)… I cried out.

He responded.
And I surrendered as one who smells like smoke” often refers to 1 Corinthians 3:15, describing a person saved from judgment but who has “suffered loss” or escaped through fire

I don’t believe that picking and choosing is what God, knowing all of earth’s humanity from the beginning until the end…would inspire men to write a book of history, and theology without considering the expanse of humanity. I mean this IS the supreme being, creator. Either He knows the future or doesn’t. That is WHY He can be the same yesterday, today and forever….because He already knows the future– HENCE HE DOES NOT HAVE TO ADJUST HIMSELF*
