Philippians 4:19 ICB My God will use his wonderful riches in Christ Jesus to give you everything you need. 

Was Paul only talking about spiritual needs? I don’t believe so, although God does take care of filling our spiritual needs when we ask and are open to learning, growing, and receiving. But this is Paul of the shipwreck, Paul of the snake bite, Paul of the imprisonment. 

When someone walks through challenging situations they become a person who has words of wisdom.  They speak from what they have learned, not from what is popular to say. 

Paul was given a big assignment- to preach throughout the regions around him. With his big assignment, came a big risk. It wasn’t just a risk, it became a reality. 

What got him through? He trusted in God that all his needs would be taken care of. How else could he get through all those trials? How else can we?

Through our behavior, we can show worry ….or witness to the power and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All therapists say we have control over our actions. We first need to control our thoughts.

What we believe we meditate on. And we can also meditate on that which we need to remember.

Maybe your personal trials are still all too fresh. It takes faith to get through trials and not come out completely damaged.

God grants us faith.

We act on it.

Today you have a choice over your thoughts that you think. You have a choice over your actions and reactions.

Choose faith. Choose faith that God will provide for all your needs.
