Do you get your sense of self worth from a stable source?

I have had PRESSURE on me for many years. It ampped up to unbearable when I began receiving disability.  I felt like I had to use my time wisely. I couldn’t just slack off and eat bon bons and watch tv all day. This was not entitlement.

Even though I have a part time job and I volunteer, write blogs, and work on a book of devotions to publish…. I still have to fill a lot of hours each day.

Today on my other blog I talk about where myself worth was coming from and where it should be coming from.

Instead of duplicating the post…you can click here to read it:
I’m getting my worth from the wrong place…are you?

Until Next Time~

  2. Great read… really made me think. I think i get my self worth from being a productive person but i fall short of that so maybe that’s why my self worth can be low.

    1. Angela what you described just now has been me for years…since 2008. It can cause me depression when I am balanced on my meds and it can increase my depression when I am already low.
I hope you have an awesome weekend, Kate
